1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
1 medium apple, peeled and diced
2 cups chicken broth
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a large pot, brown the ground turkey over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the diced apple, chili powder, and cumin, cooking for another 2 minutes.
Add the kidney beans, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth to the pot.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
