  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, breadcrumbs, shredded cheese, mayonnaise, chopped onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
