Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add in the vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in the diced apples.
  7. Spread half of the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  8. Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce over the batter.
  9. Spread the remaining batter over the caramel layer.
  10. Top with the remaining salted caramel sauce.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Let cool before cutting into bars.
