  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup corn (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground turkey over medium heat until fully cooked.
  2. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the pot and sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper, and cook for another minute.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes, black beans, kidney beans, and corn (if using) to the pot.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings.
