Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups French onion soup
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Place the meatballs in the crock pot.
  4. Pour the French onion soup over the meatballs.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and cover until melted.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can sauté the meatballs in a skillet before placing them in the crock pot.
  • Serve with crusty bread or over mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
