  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the cooked beef to the crockpot.
  3. Add the kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and bell peppers to the crockpot.
  4. Stir all ingredients until well combined.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
