  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cups pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the cooked beef to the crockpot.
  3. Add ranch seasoning, cream cheese, beef broth, and diced tomatoes (if using) to the crockpot.
  4. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  7. Once the cooking time is up, stir in the cooked pasta and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
