Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, then drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the browned beef to the slow cooker.
  3. Add the kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, and beef broth to the slow cooker.
  4. Stir all ingredients until well combined.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings.
