Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu, drained and pressed
  • 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes.
  3. In a bowl, mix the chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  4. Add the tofu cubes to the sauce and toss to coat.
  5. Sprinkle cornstarch over the tofu and toss again until evenly coated.
  6. Spread the tofu on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Drizzle vegetable oil over the tofu.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add more chili garlic sauce.
