Ingredients

  • 8 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook to your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté until softened.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked rigatoni to the sauce and toss to coat.
  7. Slice the steak and serve on top of the rigatoni. Garnish with additional Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add more Cajun seasoning or a dash of hot sauce.
  • This dish can be made with chicken or shrimp instead of steak.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
