Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wrap the head of garlic in aluminum foil and roast in the oven for 30-35 minutes until soft.
  3. Season the Bavette steak with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  5. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest.
